The hotel is a renovated Gothic-Renaissance house in the historical centre of the town. It has been open since june 1999. The town Prachatice is located in a hollow, which is opened to the north-west, on the side of the valley of Živný stream. There are woods on the other three sides around the settlement. You can through a swim in the nearby Husinec lake. You can spend your winter holiday in the ski and winter sport centres in the surrounding. There are three primary and four secondary schools, policlinic, district hospital and four farmaceutical chemist‘s. Cultural programmes are offered in the town theatre, museum and two galleries. You can go for sports in a lokal stadium with tennis courts and some sport halls. You can go into a lokal swimming pool, or you can wander in the nature. There is a sport airport in the nearby Strunkovice/Blanice (10 km). You can arrange a flight or try to get the flying permission.
